Dita Holifield has established this scholarship in honor of Miss Rodeo Hawaii Pageant Director Lu Ann Mahiki Lankford-Faborito. Lu Ann is an outstanding example of how a strong Native Hawaiian woman gives back to her community all while advocating for the Native Hawaiian people and Hawaii’s thriving Paniolo community. Lu, as we affectionately call her, has tirelessly given of her own time, money, and mentorship to elevate young female Rodeo enthusiasts for years. As Pageant Director, we honor the hours of service she dedicates to perpetuating the entire state's Rodeo Community and the Miss Rodeo Hawaii family.  Dita Holifield’s All American Rodeo salutes Lu Ann Mahiki Lankford-Faborito as she continues her commitment to creating a meaningful and purpose driven life.
